How long before I get some "business" or patients into my office from the network after I join the network? |
That answer depends on the particular state in which you are located and the contract requirements that must be fulfilled in those states. When accepted into the network, each doctor will be told if there are contracts in his or her state that cover the services. In those states in which there are contracts, "business" could be immediate. In states where contracts are not yet signed, doctors will simply be credentialed and will wait for successful negotiations.
