Triad Healthcare, Inc. Names New Medical Informatics Director

Triad Healthcare, Inc., specialist in helping insurance companies and doctors to deliver better health care to pain patients, announced that it has appointed Steven Delaronde, MPH, MSW as its new Director of Medical Informatics.

Mr. Delaronde is an accomplished researcher in the medical field and has been widely published in journals including Journal of Asthma, The Diabetes Educator, Managed Care Interface, Child Abuse and Neglect, and the American Journal of Managed Care and is a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Managed Care.

Mr. Delaronde is also an adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut teaching graduate-level courses in epidemiology and biostatistics, and periodically teaches research methods to medical students in India as part of a joint program between the University of Connecticut Health Center and the Indian Council of Medical Research.

Mr. Delaronde has presented at numerous conferences, including the American Public Health Association, Disease Management Association of America, Disease Management Congress, Case Management Society of America, National Committee for Quality Improvement, National Association for Healthcare Quality, American Diabetes Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, and the American Thoracic Society.

He comes to Triad with 12 years of experience in health services research, most recently having spent 6 years with ConnectiCare. He has a Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut.
